Once you have this new perspective on conflict, you will dive into understanding your own conflict approach in Sessions 3 and 4. You’ll identify the lenses you bring, intentionally or not, and the overall styles that influence how you operate.

Here, you’ll start to craft your plan on the growth opportunities you have and gain new insights to understand your family members (or those you are in community with) and their approaches.
The Deep Dive to Gain Context on Your Conflict

It’s easy to know what the current problems are, but sometimes we need the larger context that has influenced why you and your family handle conflict the way you do.

One of the key things you’ll find woven through each session of this family study is tools to gain perspective and understanding.

You’ll identify generational patterns, examine past stories and experiences, trace conflict styles, all while building a plan to move forward.
The Tools You Will Create

In Sessions 5-7, you will get highly practical in the work completed. Using the context you’ve gained, you will start work on a Code of Conduct– the standards you want to govern your conflicts, and then you will build your own Conflict Process and accountability tools.

These easy-to-implement strategies will give you a clear blueprint for your family conflict going forward. You’ll walk through the exact steps and have a model you can easily return to and adapt for each life season.
