Director of Outreach
Summary: The Director of Outreach will be the catalyst for moving church partnerships and donations from proposal into reality for Legacy Stone. The objective of this role will prioritize growth of the organization, outreach to churches, relationships with pastors, and strengthening Christian families globally. This individual will own the existing relationships and bring creativity to identify new opportunities and new strategies. Both prospecting and follow-through are integral parts of success for this position. You’ll bring new people to the table, and you’ll walk with them through each stage to a conversion.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Speaking and Events
● Support at speaking events both locally and nationally
● Attend Legacy Stone and 7th Gen events as needed to develop relationships and perform follow up.
● Identify new opportunities for events and public presentations to promote the Legacy Stone Brand
Support Product Offerings
● Produce product content for Legacy Stone including small group curriculum and workshops.
● Develop supporting books, blogs, social media posts, YouTube videos as requested.
Business Development
● Help promote and fill virtual and live events with qualified participants.
● Find partner organizations to host and promote virtual and in-person events, and work with Director of Operations to finalize contracts for hosts.
● Perform event follow-up and convert to leads
● Identify church prospects to host in-person events, purchase curriculums, and expand network for curriculum purchasers.
● Work with the CEO to engage prospective donors, present funding proposals, follow-up as they commit, and continue to nurture the relationship for future opportunities.
● Identify new donor, business, or coaching relationships.
● Work within Legacy Stone’s priorities to create strategic partnerships with businesses and individuals.
● Create referral partners strategy and implement plan
● Responsible for tracking of all data tied to relationships in CRM and developing follow-up processes to support all sales stages.
● Work with the Director of Marketing on new sales content needs and coordinate with campaigns.
● Respond to all incoming leads and provide follow-up through leads and customer lifecycles.
● Build a process for nurturing existing relationships to re-engage, sell new products, or convert to brand advocates/referrers.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- CRM experience
- Microsoft and G-Suite proficient
- 3+ years in development or sales roles
- Past roles in the nonprofit industry
Working Environment and Work Hours
· Location: 100% Remote
· Hours: M-F 8am – 5pm (flexible based on job needs)
· Domestic travel required (as needed for events and opportunities)
